On the ground floor of a historic Gründerzeit building, there was once a postcard storage hall – today, the space shines as a modern hair salon for one-of-a-kind hairstyling.
Through careful architectural interventions, we restored the room to its original form, creating a clearly structured floor plan once again. Custom-designed furniture pieces fit precisely within the existing architecture, giving the interior a restrained elegance that emphasizes both the style and function of the salon.
The result is a light-filled, open space where history and contemporary design harmoniously intertwine.
The furniture was developed in close collaboration with the clients – as a precise response to the demands of daily salon operations. Its design language is deliberately simple, supporting functionality and clear workflows.
Each piece was individually planned to integrate seamlessly into the space and optimally facilitate work processes. The reduction to essentials gives the built-ins a restrained presence, preserving the minimalist character of the interior while still conveying warmth and precision.
